Renewing Your CEHS Certification
Once you have achieved your CEHS credential, it will need to be renewed every two years.
To renew, you will need to complete and send in an application for renewal, submit your documentation of the continuing education units (CEU’s) for the previous 2 years totaling 2.4 CEU’s or 24 credit hours, and pay a fee of $15.
"Continuing Education Unit" means the value given for ten contact hours (1 CEU) of participation in an organized continuing education experience under responsible sponsorship, capable direction, and qualified instruction approved by the board. So, 2.4 CEU’s means you have spent 24 contact hours in an approved educational course or experience.
Contact information for submit renewal documents can be found on the application or under the section “Certification Board Members”.
